Jodhpur National University (JNU) is a self-financed private university established under the Rajasthan Private Universities (Establishment and Regulation) Act, 2005. Located at Narnadi, Jhanwar Road, Jodhpur, the university is spread across a sprawling green campus.
JNU is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under Section 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956. The university is approved by AICTE for engineering and management programmes, by the Bar Council of India (BCI) for law programmes, and by NCTE for education programmes.
Since its establishment, JNU has grown into a comprehensive university offering more than 40 programmes at undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels across multiple disciplines including Engineering, Management, Law, Education, Science, Arts, and Commerce.
